At Sound City Bible Church, we value and desire for all church attendees to be plugged into a Community Group. So today we’re celebrating the 18 people who recently took that next step to getting into community with one another, through the launch of this quarter’s Connect Group!

This October, a small team from our church family will be traveling to a remote village in Uganda on a short-term mission trip. We will be serving alongside HEED Uganda, a mission organization that was started by one of Sound City's very own Covenant Members. While in Uganda one of our primary missions will be medical outreach, specifically to help fight against Malaria. Malaria is one of the highest causes of death in this region. We are hoping to reach around 1,000 people, including school children and their families, and even the surrounding villages and communities.
Join us, friends, as we celebrate a lively and successful outreach event from this morning! Led by Pastor Kyle, this morning's event focused on supporting the teachers and staff at Lynnwood High School as they prepare to kick off another school year.

Smoke wasn't the only thing in the air this past Sunday. As we gathered together as a church for our Annual Beach BBQ and Baptism event, we also lifted up our praises and celebrated God's goodness through food, fellowship, and—of course—baptisms!

One of the greatest values we hold at Sound City Bible Church is the prioritization of relationships. We encourage it, we cultivate it, and today we are celebrating it! All summer long we've had many opportunities for people to get together—from hikes to golf scrambles, BBQs to student camp—and this past Friday, an opportunity to gather together to watch the local Everett AquaSox play.

Recently, a group of approximately 20 hikers gathered together for an adventurous exploration of Beckler Peak. Today we celebrate the new friendships made, the old friendships deepened, and the enjoying of God’s creation through fellowshipping in nature.

We had three major goals for this event: Relationally, we wanted to deepen the relationships between the people of our church. Missionally, we wanted to invite our friends, co-workers, neighbors, and raise money for Sound City's upcoming mission trip to Uganda. Recreationally, we wanted everyone to have fun! Suffice to say, all three goals were met and God exceeded our expectations.
This past week, Sound City Bible Church and Cross and Crown Church joined forces to send our students to Summer Camp! This year’s theme was "Saturate" and draws from the idea in Romans 15:13 of overflowing, or having your whole life saturated with the hope of God!

Today we're reflecting on, and celebrating, how both new and old Sound City members took it a step further by celebrating the 4th of July while sharing about Jesus Christ.
