Discussion Questions

  1. Briefly share with your group how you met Jesus. Specifically look for ways that God providentially lined things up in your life to “get ahold of you” when you otherwise might not have been looking.

  2. Where have you been discouraged in your efforts to share the gospel with somebody? Is it possible that you are taking God’s role upon yourself? How can Jesus unburden you from that weight?

  3. If God is sovereign over salvation, why should we even share the gospel or pray at all?

  4. Who are you currently praying for and sharing Jesus with? No matter how hard their hearts may seem, how can we encourage each other that the story isn’t over? How can we remind each other of God’s amazing grace that can melt even the hardest heart?

Prayer Points

  1. Pray that you would be faithful to share Jesus, and that you would rest in the truth that he is responsible ultimately for the results.

  2. Pray that God would give you a deeper heart of love and brokenness for lost and hurting people who need to encounter Jesus’ healing light.
