1. Why did Jesus have to be made like us in every respect?
2. Why was it fitting for Jesus to be made perfect (consecrated for his role as high priest) through suffering?
3. How does Jesus save us from the slavery of the fear of death?
4. How does knowing Jesus is unashamed to call you his brother confront any shame you feel in your life?
5. In your suffering, how are you trusting God and being obedient like Jesus and how are you being disobedient?

1. Pray that God would expose and eliminate any shame you are holding onto.
2. Pray that you God would empower you to trust him and be obedient to him in the midst of your suffering.
