August 25th, Kid’s Ministry celebrated another year of growth, learning, and sharing the love of Jesus. At Sound City, classrooms are grade based so children get to build and enjoy relationships with the same teachers and classmates for a full year. Before fall begins, each class throws a party complete with treats and balloons.
In talking with teachers, classroom assistants, and other volunteers in Kid’s Ministry, the word that they tend to share about this ministry is “privilege”. It’s a privilege and an honor to watch kids grow not only in knowledge, but to see the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts and lives.
Let’s thank God now for the children he has blessed our church with, and let’s pray that they would come to love him and walk with him faithfully all of their days.
