Your faithfulness provides the resources so that we can gather for worship, train leaders, care for people, disciple our youth and children, support other ministries, send people on mission trips, and much, much more. If you plan on writing off your contributions for tax purposes, you will need a giving statement. In the past, we have mailed out giving statements to all who have contributed. In order to save on printing and mailing costs, we encourage you to download your statement. You can follow the steps below to print or download your giving statement.
We have been using Community Church Builder as our online church management tool for things like giving records. In the next few months, we are transitioning to Pushpay. Until then, you will need to log into CCB for your giving statement. Once the transition is complete, we will update this post to provide instructions for how to log into Pushpay.
Step 1: log into Church Community Builder (CCB)
Go to soundcity.ccbchurch.com and log into your account. If you need help accessing your account, please email hannah@soundcitybiblechurch.com.
Step 2: go to the Give section
On the left side of the screen, click on the word “Give,” then go to the top of the screen and click on “Schedules/History.”
Step 3: set up the giving statement
In the upper right corner of the screen, click on “Giving Statement” button. This will bring a pop-up window where you will need to select a couple of parameters. First, under the “Date Range” drop-down menu, select “Last Year.” Second, under the “Tax Deductible” drop-down menu, select “Deductible Only.” (Transactions such as Student Camp registration fees are not tax-deductible gifts to the church.)
Step 4: save or print
Once you have selected the right parameters, click on the “Run Report” button and voila! Your giving statement will appear on the screen. From here, you can print the document or save it as a PDF.
