1. What false gods are vying for your attention and devotion? How can you, like Gideon, tear down those altars and pursue wholehearted devotion to God?
2. In your own life, where do you struggle with fear? Where do you struggle with doubt? How can we help one another as we walk through those fears and doubts?
3. Read Proverbs 1:7. How does the fear of the Lord help us as we work through our fears?
4. Where do you need God to point you more to Jesus, the one who overcame all fear and doubt on our behalf?

Prayer Points

1. Pray that we would not be driven by our fears or doubts, but that we would bring them to Jesus and trust in his courage.
2. Pray that God would use us to speak words of peace and life to those who are trapped in fear and doubt.
