Everyone is invited to join us for this one time training event exploring the key similarities and differences between the Christian and Muslim worldview.

James Rayment, founder and director of Al-Ma'idah Initiative, will be leading this training from his knowledge of the Muslim faith and community. James has spent years engaging in Christian/Muslim relationship building and has experienced a high degree of fruitfulness in that time. James is a natural bridge builder and is passionate about teaching Christians what he has learned regarding sharing the gospel of Jesus with our Muslim friends and neighbors.

When it comes to our Muslim friends and neighbors, the pressure is not on us, to convert people or change anyone’s mind, but rather to speak the truth in love and leave the outcome to God. Many Muslims have a similar belief, which gives us a unique opportunity to talk and even disagree about life's deepest issues and still go home as friends at the end of the day.

After this training event, you can feel more equipped to sit down over a meal or coffee and have a conversation with someone from a Muslim background. This is an opportunity to grow in your confidence when it comes to talking with people from other worldviews. We are called to engage with others in love and to share the good news of Jesus with grace and passion. Through events like this, we hope to empower the members of Sound City Bible Church to do just that.
