For the last few years, Sound City has been hosting an annual cookout in Edmonds City Park immediately following the 4th of July parade. Unfortunately, the city of Edmonds will not be holding the 4th of July parade this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

The good news is that the 4th of July is a Sunday this year, so we will hold the celebration right here on the church property. We will only have one service that day at 10am, and then host a picnic on the lawn! We're inviting the entire church and the surrounding community to join us, and you can invite your friends and neighbors too.

There will be a cookout and some fun activities like face painting, a bouncy house, games, and music. We want to kick off the summer with some good old-fashioned hospitality and fun.

We will need lots of volunteers to make this event a success, but that’s no problem since we will already be on site for the church gathering. As soon as our time of worship is over, we’ll get all hands on deck to get the picnic up and running. Sign up to volunteer by clicking the link below.
