Your faithfulness provides the resources so that we can gather for worship, train leaders, care for people, disciple our youth and children, support other ministries, send people on mission trips, and much, much more. If you plan on writing off your contributions for tax purposes, you will need a giving statement. In years past, we have mailed out giving statements to all who have contributed. But this year, in order to save on printing and mailing costs, we are encouraging our people to simply download your giving statement. Just follow these steps to get a giving statement that you can print or download for tax purposes.
Step 1: log into Church Community Builder (CCB)
CCB is the online church management tool that we use for things like contact info, membership, kids check-in, and giving records. Go to soundcity.ccbchurch.com and log into your account. If you need help accessing or setting up an account, please email hannah@soundcitybiblechurch.com.
Step 2: go to the give section
On the left side of the screen, click on the word “give,” then go to the top of the screen and click on “schedules/history.”
Step 3: set up the giving statement
In the upper right corner of the screen, click on “giving statement” box. This will bring up a pop-up window where you will need to select a couple of parameters. First, under the “date range” drop-down menu, select “last year.” Second, under the “tax deductible” drop-down menu, select “tax deductible.” (Transactions such as student camp registration fees are not tax-deductible gifts to the church.)
Step 4: save or print
Once you have selected the right parameters, click on the “run report” button and voila! Your giving statement will appear on the screen. From here you can print the document or save it as a PDF.
