Tuesday, January 22nd was the first gathering of this quarter’s Connect Group. We are so thankful for the work God has done through Connect Group in the past, and excited to see what is in store! It’s our desire that every person who is a part of Sound City would get to experience and enjoy biblical community. In community, we experience the love of Christ, are equipped for ministry, and encounter grace as we grow together.
Designed to be temporary, Connect Group is a great launch pad into making biblical community a part of your life. Whether you are new, have never joined a community group, or are looking for a group, Connect can be an opportunity to take the next step. In Connect, you will experience all the aspects of a traditional Community Group, while also exploring the biblical foundations of community. Participants have the opportunity to join a permanent Community Group or to consider planting a new group.

Myeong Hong, deacon and staff member at Sound City is leading this Connect Group as they explore biblical community and put it into practice. Myeong said, “It was a joy to see new attenders at Sound City place a high priority to being in biblical community.” At this first gathering, he shared that they “enjoyed a rich time of prayer with our brothers and sisters in Christ even though many of us met for the first time.”
