Happy Halloween, Sound City! Today we’re celebrating the recent Halloween Party that our Sound City Students held which, by God’s grace, was the largest Wednesday night gathering in Student Ministry history!
The large turnout was due in great part to our outreach-minded students, who extended invitations to their friends outside of our local church. Because we also shared a gospel-centered message during the party, multiple teens who are not part of a church were able to hear the gospel preached. Praise God! There was also a costume contest, lots of fun games, food, prizes, and a photo booth. A great time was had by all, and it was a real treat (no trick!) seeing the clever costumes everyone came up with, including our Student Ministry leaders.
Please join us as we extend thankful worship for God’s hand in this event, and for the evangelical hearts he has given to so many of our students. We pray that they continue to invite their friends to our Wednesday night gatherings for fun, fellowship, and to even possibly hear the gospel for the first time.
