Discussion Questions

1. How is the gospel of Jesus our only hope for true unity and true diversity? How is Jesus uniquely able to relate to each of us individually?

2. Which one of the errors with your gifts (denial, envy, etc.) might you be prone toward? What is God asking you to do about it?

3. Are you more of a “unity” person or a “diversity” person? How is God wanting to grow you in the other direction?

4. What are some of the blessings you’ve experienced because of diversity within the body? What about unity?

Prayer Points

1. Pray that God would help us as a church to experience true unity in him even as we embrace the full diversity of our gifts.

2. Pray that our unity and diversity would be a demonstration of the gospel to an unbelieving world.
