We are calling all folks who love to golf or even just enjoy the idea of playing golf. Whether you play regularly or once a year, this event is a great way to build relationships while being outdoors.

It's time for the Sound City Bottle Drive supporting the Pregnancy Resource Center in Everett. The Pregnancy Resource Center is a non-profit offering resources and hope to local women and families in difficult circumstances. Donate now through Father’s Day, June 20th.
Kids, anywhere from Pre-K to 5th grade, are welcomed to sign up for Sound City’s first Kids Ministry Sunday event since the beginning of COVID-19. This event will help us to plan future Kids Ministry classes, as well as giving the children a chance to have their own lesson and to connect with each other. Space is limited, so registration is required.

Join us on Saturday, September 19th for a prayer walk around the Martha Lake neighborhood. We will be asking God to give us a vision for how to be a light in our community.
God has graciously answered our prayers and allowed us to begin moving into our permanent home. In order to move into our new building, we are asking anyone who is able to join us after the 11 a.m. Gatherings on Sunday 6th, 13th, and 20th to help us move furniture and boxes from the church offices to the new building.
Bring the kids and join us for an outdoor movie on the lawn as we say farewell to summer. It will be a fun time of connection and fellowship with other families in a safe, socially distanced environment.

Grab a camp chair and come watch an outdoor movie with Sound City Students. If you are a student going into 6th to 12th grade you won’t want to miss this chance to build relationships and have fun before the school year begins.
Starting Monday, February 24th, come pray with us and the people of Martha Lake Baptist, from 6:30pm—8:00pm. We will meet at Martha Lake Baptist Church for the next seven weeks. Join us any or every Monday as we grow in unity in Christ and build each other up in the Lord.
Friday, February 21st at 6:30pm we will join with Martha Lake Baptist Church for a special night of prayer and baptisms. This joint event will be focused on prayer for our churches, as we pursue merging together. The evening will be particularly joyful as we baptize believers in Jesus.
As we look forward to spring, join us for a seven week session of Women’s Discipleship Groups. Meeting in homes, the groups will learn how to dive deeper into God’s Word and grow in their knowledge and understanding of Scripture. They will learn study methods and tools, have the opportunity to grow in discipleship, and build relationships.
Do you have a hunger to know God and love his word? Join the women of Sound City and Martha Lake Baptist on the morning of Saturday, February 8th for a Women’s Discipleship Gathering. This gathering will focus on studying God’s word in a deep and meaningful way, with the aim of growing in living godly lives and showing people around us what God is really like.
Do you want to grow as a disciple of Jesus and as a disciple-maker? Start the year off right with a group of men from Sound City and Martha Lake Baptist led by Zach MacDonald, Todd Stahlecker, and Myeong Hong. This eight-week Wednesday morning session is for men of all ages to fellowship, study, pray, and grow together as disciples of Jesus.

Join us on Monday, December 23rd for an Eve of the Eve Christmas service! Starting at 6:30pm in the auditorium at Lynnwood High School, we will gather together as a church family to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 20th. Pastor Kyle and Brittany Hackett will be leading an interest meeting with Pastor Doug and Linda Freyburg for Sound City’s mission trip to Baja, Mexico. We’ll be traveling to Vincente Guerrero where we will be serving with the Foundation For His Ministry March 1-7, 2020.

If you are new to the church, have questions about Covenant Membership, or have even been around for a long time but haven't yet taken this step, we invite you to attend the next Covenant Member Interest Meeting led by Pastor Shane on Sunday, October 13, during the 11am service.
This fall, a new seven week discipleship group led by Pastor Aaron will learn more about how to understand and teach the Bible.

Each year as students head back to school, we invite them on stage to pray over them for the upcoming school year. Students entering 6th through 12th grades are invited to join us in front of the congregation at the beginning of both the 9am and 11am services. No advanced sign-up is necessary. We hope to see you there!
