Living in a fallen world leaves scars on our bodies, minds, and souls. Life is hard and we can’t do it alone. God gave us help in the gift of our local church. The body of Christ is commanded to care for one another, but how can we do this?
Care has many different facets that can quickly become overwhelming, often leaving us feeling unqualified or unable to serve our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. The goal of this half-day conference is to break down some of the mystery surrounding care in the local church and to help you understand how God desires to use church members to care for one another.
Join us for "Steadfast: Care", a half-day conference to be informed, encouraged, and equipped for care in your local church. The conference features Robert Cheong, Pastor of Care at Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, Kentucky. He is the author of God Redeeming His Bride: A Handbook for Church Discipline and has contributed to The Gospel Coalition, Biblical Counseling Coalition, and The Journal of Biblical Counseling. He is married to Karen, and they have three adult children and three grandchildren.
