This past Sunday, our church body gathered together again for one of our regular potluck lunches and family gatherings. We are excited to celebrate with you as we recap the day’s happenings.
There was a great turnout for our potluck lunch. Everyone shared so generously and no one went hungry. Many new families to our church stayed for the lunch portion of our gathering, and everyone enjoyed good food and great fellowship. For our family gathering in the auditorium, we had about 100 people in attendance! People who attended the meeting were given an update on our church’s financial health, information on our ongoing hunt for a building, as well as a special time where we talked about steps we are taking to discover ways of diversifying our approach to biblical community. Then, we enjoyed an extended time of Q&A and prayer.
Thank you to all who came to this event and participated, both through preparing food and sharing in fellowship, as well as coming alongside the elders and leaders of the church. We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate and discuss where God has brought us from, where he has us now, and to pray together for where he will be taking us in the future.
