“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.”
The death of Jesus is the darkest day in human history. On that day, the most perfect man who ever lived was unfairly punished for crimes that he didn't commit. But for a Christian, this dark day is also incredibly good, because through the death of Jesus, God forgives our sins and washes us clean.
The life of a Christian is one of being united to Jesus in all areas of life, including his death.
Join us on Good Friday as we explore what it means to be "united with Christ" in his death. We will gather for a time of singing, prayer, scripture reading, and reflection on the significance of Jesus' death.
