This fall our Women’s Discipleship event will be focused on how we remember God when we are tempted to focus on everything going on in the world around us. The prosperity of our society can be deceiving; making it easy to feel secure and forget our Creator. Yet when difficulty comes, like what we have collectively gone through in our nation in the last year and a half, we often experience confusion and anxiety.
Gather with us on Saturday, September 18th from 9:00-12:00. In addition to breakfast, music, Bible teaching, and a time of prayer, we are very excited to invite Christian counselor, Lisa Pratt for a special forum. Lisa has an M.A. in counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and holds a certificate from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. As a counselor, Lisa’s care often combines counseling, support, spiritual formation/guidance, discipleship, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. During our women’s discipleship gathering, Lisa will be speaking on the ways we experience times like these. She will also be fielding your questions, creating an opportunity for deeper application, as we seek God together.
We hope you will join us for this time of enrichment and encouragement. The cost is $15 to attend and includes a gift.
We never want cost to be an obstacle; please let us know if the cost would create a financial burden.
There is no childcare available for this event.
