The death of Jesus is the darkest day in human history. On that day, the most perfect man who ever lived was unfairly punished for crimes that he didn't commit. But for a Christian, this dark day is also incredibly good, because through the death of Jesus, God forgives our sins and washes us clean.
In Acts 26, the Apostle Paul asks the striking question, "Why is it so unbelievable to anyone that God raises the dead?" Resurrection Sunday (Easter) is the most joyful, celebratory day of the year for Christians. But before there can be celebration of Jesus' resurrection, we must pause and reflect on the darkeness of Jesus' death.
We will be gathering on Friday, April 14 at Lynnwood High School for two gathering times: 6:30pm and 8:00pm. The 6:30pm gathering will have Kids Ministry available, but the 8:00pm will not. We invite you to join us for a time of singing, prayer, scripture reading, and reflection on the significance of Jesus' death.
