At Sound City Bible Church we like to celebrate the fact that God breathes life into dead things. One way we celebrate this amazing truth is through baptism. Baptism is incredibly important to Christians because it was put in place by Jesus himself (Matthew 3:15, 28:18, John 3:22). In Romans 6:3-4 the Apostle Paul explains that our baptism is our identification with Jesus: we go under the waters of judgement to identify with his death, and we come up from the water to identify with his new life. If you would like to learn more about what the bible has to teach us about baptism, join us for this baptism class.
