Friday, February 21st we gathered with Martha Lake Baptist for an evening of prayer and baptism. 94 people sang, prayed, and celebrated new life in Christ.
Pastor Aaron shared, “There was so much joy in the air as we lifted our voices in song to Jesus. There were tears, as well: some were tears of joy as we watched three people publicly profess faith in Jesus by being baptized. And some were tears of sorrow as we pleaded with Jesus to save friends and family members who don't yet know him. Overall, the night was a great time of unity between brothers and sisters in Christ.”
“ We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
Through April 6th, we will continue praying at Martha Lake Baptist Church during the Monday Night Prayer Gathering from 6:30-8:00pm. Join us any or every Monday as we grow in unity in Christ and build each other up in the Lord.
We rejoice in the work that God is doing among us, and especially for the new creation he has made in our brothers and sister who were baptized. Praise God for his salvation.
